Privacy Policy

The short version: No advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Bidding uses a passwordless sign-in and Stripe Checkout, so I keep your email, brand details, bid amount and payment references — never your card number.

Who I am

Brandmyconsole is run by Abel (“I”, “me”). Contact: Contact@brandmyconsole.com. I am the data controller for everything described here.

What I collect when you bid

• Email address — to confirm your bid, tell you if someone outbids you, and contact you if you win. This is the only reason it is required.
• Brand name, logo file and website — they are what gets published on the console and on this page if your bid is approved.
• Bid amount and time — the auction cannot work without them, and they are shown publicly.
• Your Supabase Auth identity — a passwordless account tied to your email so only you can submit and review bids. It has no password or profile beyond the email address.
• A payment reference — the identifiers Stripe returns for your deposit, so it can be refunded or set against your invoice. Card numbers never reach this site; they are entered on Stripe’s own page.

I do not ask for your name, address or phone number. A passwordless sign-in identity is created automatically when you request a bid link; you do not need to set a password or complete a profile.

What is public and what is not

Once a bid is approved, the brand name, logo, website and amount appear on the site — that is the point of the auction. Your email address is never published and is never shared with other bidders.

Bids awaiting approval are not shown to anyone but me.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, and no analytics service is currently enabled. Supabase Auth stores a temporary session in your browser so a passwordless sign-in remains active; it is used only for authentication.

The site may keep form values and the authentication session in your own browser. The bid details are sent to the service only when you submit them.

Who processes your data

• Supabase — hosts the database and the logo files.
• Resend — sends the bid and outbid emails.
• Stripe — takes and refunds deposits, and holds the card details this site never sees.
• Vercel — hosts the site and keeps standard server logs.

I do not sell your data, and I do not use it for anything other than running this auction.

How long I keep it

Bid records stay for as long as the sticker is on the console, since they are the record of who bought what. If your bid is rejected or you ask me to delete it, it and the uploaded logo go within 30 days.

Records of money — deposits, refunds, invoices — are kept for as long as applicable U.S. tax and accounting laws require, whatever you ask, because that obligation is not mine to waive.

Your rights

Under applicable U.S. privacy laws, you can ask for a copy of your data, request corrections, or ask for deletion where the law allows. Email Contact@brandmyconsole.com and I will handle your request within a reasonable time.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, I will email everyone holding a spot. The date at the top always shows the current version.
